Real Estate Associate, Cayman
A rare offshore opportunity has arisen for a Real Estate Associate to join a highly regarded Real Estate department in the Cayman Islands. This is an opportunity for a Real Estate Associate, ideally with Cayman Real Estate experience, to join a dynamic, friendly, and successful team.
Commonwealth qualified Real Estate Associates with 4-8 years PQE will also be considered but ideally you will have ties to Cayman and a commitment to relocate to the jurisdiction.

Role:

• You will be exposed to a wide range of property matters including both commercial and residential real estate transactions. Matters will include lease work, development work, residential sales, and real estate finance experience just to name a few!
• You will form part of this highly successful department and manage transactions from inception to conclusion. Within this team there are highly regarded and well-connected fee earners and also support from non-fee earning staff.
• You will be regularly required to network and further develop existing relationships with a broad spectrum of clients including realtors and banks.

Experience:

• Real Estate Attorneys with 4-8 years PQE will be considered for this opportunity. In addition, you must be a Caymanian or commonwealth qualified.
• You must have wide ranging Real Estate experience to date covering both commercial and residential real estate transactions.
• Strong negotiating and drafting experience again covering a wide variety of work including sale and purchase agreements, leases, landlord/tenant enquiries, insolvency and administration sales and reports on title is essential for this opportunity.
• Ideally your experience to date will have been gained from a top real estate practice and beyond this you should also have longevity and a stable career to date.
• Excellent client relationship skills and business development skills are required.
