Human Resources Manager

A highly skilled Human Resources Manager is required to join an offshore law firm in their Cayman Islands office. This is an integral and pivotal role for the firm and so a wealth of HR experience to date, ideally within a law firm or another professional services environment is required.

Role:

  • This is an all-encompassing HR Managerial position and so the responsibilities will be wide and varied covering: manage employment relations, be the lead on HR projects and the implementation of policies and procedures, recruitment and onboarding, manage employee actions such as disciplinaries if required.
  • Provide expert HR advice, guidance and coaching to all within this firm.
  • Immigration is outsourced to a third party and so whilst you will have some involvement in work permits and BSP’s, this will not be a large focus of your role.
  • This is a standalone HR Manager role in the firm’s office in Cayman. However, you will be supported by members of HR teams from the firms’ other jurisdictional offices and of course from the Partners and stakeholders sat in the Cayman office.

Experience:

  • You must be an experienced HR professional with a wealth of experience gained in a professional services environment.
  • You must have strong Cayman Islands Labour Law knowledge and immigration knowledge.
  • Anyone with multi-jurisdictional HR experience would be ideal, but it is not an essential requirement.
