Job Description

A big four international financial services firm is seeking stand out applications for a Senior Associate position within their Corporate Advisory team in the British Virgin Islands office. Our client is happy to consider applications from qualified accountants with a strong Corporate Advisory background available to relocate to the British Virgin Islands.

It is essential for this role that you have a strong financial services background in corporate finance, restructuring and insolvency and you must have experience from another big four environment.

 

If you're a qualified Accountant, with exposure to Corporate Advisory work from another jurisdiction such as South Africa, United Kingdom, Singapore, China or America and looking to move to the Caribbean this is not an opportunity to miss.

 

Role

-You will work under a Corporate Advisory Manager but what makes this role unique is you will have direct contact with the Managing Director. The exposure this will give you and the client base including big ticket US clients is second to none.

-Working as part of this team you will provide financial advisory services to a broad spectrum of clients including companies, creditors, banks and other stakeholders. There is an emphasis placed on your client care skills for this role.

-Your work will include cross-border asset tracing and recovery, restructuring, fund wind downs and distributions to investors amongst much more.

Requirements:

  • You must be qualified in accounting through a recognised body such as ACA, CA, SAICA, CPA etc.
  • It is imperative you have a wealth of corporate advisory experience including corporate finance, restructuring and insolvency.
  • You must also have strong experience meeting clients face to face and therefore excellent client care skills and exposure to date.
  • You must be available to relocate to the British Virgin Islands and start this position following the completion of your notice period.
