Baraud are working on an opportunity for a skilled Compliance Officer that sits within a growing compliance department within a reputable financial services firm. Reporting into the Compliance Manager you will have exposure to Compliance professionals who will seek to support and develop you in your career development.

You must be a reliable person with upwards of three years’ experience in another compliance opportunity. You must be confident with all the responsibilities noted below, have good initiative, and have strong regulatory experience to date.

Responsibilities:

• You will work in a team of compliance professionals and be fully supported by the Compliance Manager who you will work directly under.
• On a day-to-day basis you will be required to manage clients due diligence, record checklists, analyze any information that is missing and/or required and update the information once documents have been received.
• You will also monitor the centralised system, update file reviews, and pass onto the Compliance Manager.
• You will work closely with the Compliance Manager and so it is important from the very start that you can build a great professional relationship. You will be able to learn from a true specialist in their field who will take them under their wing.
• There is the chance in time and once you have proven yourself to be promoted into a Senior Compliance Officer role.

Required:

• For this opportunity you require upwards of three years’ hands-on compliance experience. Candidates with upwards of two years’ experience will be considered provided you have file review experience.
• You must be reliable and hardworking and seek to join a smaller team which is growing.
• Regulatory Audit and CIMA Audit experience is an asset.
• Experience working with software such as ViewPoint is desired.
