Dispute Resolution Senior Associate/Counsel

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Associate – Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join this expanding offshore law firm in their Cayman Islands office. This is a mid-sized offshore law firm in Cayman where you will have the opportunity to make a real impact, work closely with the partnership and build a long-term career.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with 7+ years' post-qualification experience who is looking to take the next step in their career, working on complex and high-value disputes in the offshore legal market while enjoying a genuine long-term career path.

The firm's Dispute Resolution team is experiencing sustained growth and is looking to appoint an ambitious and driven Senior Associate/Counsel who can take significant responsibility across a broad range of sophisticated matters. You'll work closely with an experienced partnership on complex cross-border disputes, insolvency and restructuring matters, shareholder disputes, fraud and asset recovery, and other high-profile commercial litigation matters.

About You

• To be considered for this opportunity you must be admitted in Cayman or another recognised Commonwealth jurisdiction such as New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, Wales, England or Scotland and have 7+ years' post-qualification experience.
• Prior experience working in the Cayman Islands is preferable, although strong offshore or relevant international experience will also be considered.
• Strong commercial litigation and dispute resolution experience are essential. Insolvency and restructuring experience would be highly advantageous.
• You will be confident handling complex matters with a high degree of autonomy and be comfortable working closely with clients and senior stakeholders.
• The successful candidate will be commercially minded, ambitious and keen to develop a long-term career within the Cayman Islands legal market.
