Commercial Litigation Associate

A leading offshore law firm is seeking a talented Commercial Litigation Associate to join its high-performing disputes team. This is a growing disputes practice that has an excellent working culture so if you’re looking to be exposed to quality work, in a progressive collaborative firm this opportunity should stand out.

The Role
You will work on complex, high-value commercial and financial services litigation, including contractual, tortious, and statutory claims, cross-border disputes, and contentious insolvency matters.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to sophisticated international work.
Matters will include insolvency litigation, general banking and commercial litigation and non-contentious insolvency and restructurings.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate is 3–5 years PQE Caymanian qualified Associate. Lawyers from a recognised commonwealth jurisdiction will also be considered but should be 5-7 years PQE.
• Strong experience to date in handling complex, high value commercial disputes in Cayman.

This firm has a strong history of promoting internally and this is evidenced by current Partners having been Associates with the firm. The Partner this role reports into has a very strong reputation in Cayman and has risen from Associate to Partner with the firm.
