Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to join an established organization based in the Cayman Islands. An ideal candidate will have solid experience working as an Insurance Broker and possess strong knowledge of personal lines insurance and the insurance in general.

Previous people management experience with an ability to effectively supervise a team while delivering the highest standards of service to clients, is highly sought after. Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage a portfolio of personal lines insurance clients, servicing them as an expert broker
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on coverage options, policy features, and risk management strategies
  • Effectively negotiate insurance terms for private and commercial property, and preparation and presentation of renewal and new business proposals
  • Effectively lead and supervise a team of account executives
  • Evaluate client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions to protect their assets and mitigate risks
  • Process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations with accuracy and efficiency
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and underwriters
  • Keep abreast with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to effectively serve clients and maintain compliance
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets, maintain client satisfaction, and drive business growth

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Insurance
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Insurance Broker
  • D.I.P., C.I.I., or C.A.I.B Insurance designation or C.P.C.U qualified
  • Ability to show initiative and effectively oversee and lead a team
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
