Legal Administrator
A friendly, welcoming and close-knit law firm is seeking a highly organised and proactive Legal Administrator to join its Cayman Islands office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an administrative professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and supporting high-performing legal teams. The role would also suit a junior legal professional looking to step into a prestigious law firm and work closely with some fantastic attorneys.

Caymanian status holder and rights to work applications only at this time.

About You
You must be a friendly, organised individual that has an excellent administrative skillset. You must be able to pick things up quickly, manage various deadlines with efficiency and be a reliable, professional individual.

Key Responsibilities

  • In this role you will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient delivery of legal services and smooth day-to-day office operations.
  • You will provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to the legal teams, including diary management, meeting coordination, inbox management and correspondence handling.
  • Organising client meetings and conference calls, including scheduling, room bookings, preparation of materials and welcoming visitors.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation and itineraries.
  • On occasion you will also support wider general office operations, including reception and courier management.
  • Assisting with matter administration, including opening new matters, preparing engagement documentation and maintaining accurate records.
  • Liaising with finance teams regarding billing, expenses, payments, time recording and matter closures.

Requirements

  • Prior administrative experience within a professional services environment is essential; legal sector experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent document formatting, typing skills and IT skillset particularly with Microsoft office.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent administrative skillset with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Interpersonally you need to be a reliable, friendly individual that has a passion to pursue a legal career. This law firm seeks someone that will also be involved in wider social events at the firm and fully immerse themselves in their culture.
  • Administrative or secretarial qualifications would be advantageous.
