Job Description
Corporate Associate, Cayman
A growing offshore law firm in the Cayman Islands is seeking an exceptional Corporate Associate with Cayman experience to join a dynamic, ambitious and driven team.
This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a highly regarded Corporate Partner, gain broad cross-practice exposure, and shape the role around your strengths and interests—whether that’s corporate, funds, regulatory, or banking and finance.
The Role
You will take ownership of drafting and advisory work across a varied client base, handling transactional and advisory matters. You'll be trusted to run elements of deals independently, while benefiting from close Partner support and collaboration within a high-performing, respectful team. This is a collegiate, high-performance corporate team with clear progression on offer.
Requirements
- Ideally 4 years’ PQE with current Cayman Islands experience (essential).
- This team works on matters across broad corporate, funds, regulatory and banking and finance and so is happy to consider Associates with broad exposure or individuals that have been exposed to a particular specialty and looking to continue to build their career in that focus.
- Strong drafting experience with ideally the ability to run some matters with autonomy and confidence.
What Makes This Role Stand Out
- Flexibility to Shape Your Focus: Whether you're passionate about corporate M&A, investment funds, regulatory, or finance, this role can be tailored to your strengths.
- Tier-1 Team: Every member of the team comes from a top-tier background. This is an opportunity to work alongside some fantastic corporate peers and Partners.
- Career-Defining Opportunity: As the team continues to grow and expand its mandate, you'll be joining at an exciting time with real scope for progression and professional development.
