Corporate (Investment Funds) Associate
A top tier offshore law firm that places an emphasis on broad corporate exposure and flexibility is seeking a Corporate Associate to join their growing department in the Cayman Islands. Role:
- You will work on a wide variety of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, corporate advisory work and regulatory compliance matters.
- You will also advise on a wide range of private equity and hedge fund matters including the fund formation and restructuring of funds.
- Naturally the client base you will be exposed to is top tier and you will be working closely with some of the most recognised Corporate Partners in the offshore industry.
- Training and support will be given to those with an onshore background to ensure you get up and running and confident with Cayman Regulators.
Requirements:
- To be considered for this Associate position you must be qualified in the Cayman Islands or another recognised commonwealth jurisdiction. For commonwealth qualified lawyers you must have gained 3-5 years post qualification experience which should have been gained in a top-tier international law firm.
- Onshore Corporate Associates looking to move offshore will be happily considered but ideally you will have been exposed to some international corporate transactions. Corporate Associates with mergers and acquisitions experience, general corporate commercial and corporate advisory backgrounds will be considered.
